10 years ago I witnessed an extraordinary

transformation in my oldest daughter Amy,

then aged 2, when she started at our local

Montessori Nursery and within weeks

flourished in terms of her confidence, self

esteem and happiness. It stuck in my mind.

After many years of working in publishing and

the City, I decided to retrain as a Montessori

teacher with a view to setting up my own

school.

 

The Pelican Nursery is the culmination of a

long period of retraining and chasing a dream

for me and upheaval for my long-suffering

wife Shirley.

 

I am passionate about maintaining an

environment where young children can flourish

and work with a team of like-minded and

experienced professional nursery teachers to

make this happen.

 

At the Pelican the personalities and skills of all

happy and stimulating environment where
